What is a Group Session?
Group Sessions allow you to connect with more than one Member at the same time (e.g.: group meditation). Convince your Visitors to join and convert your new audience into loyal, paying Members!

How to set up a Group Session?
A Group Session can be started from OranumCam 5, from the Broadcaster App and even when you are streaming from browser.
Set up your Session, including the details about the topic and your desired price.
First you need to add the description of your Group Session.
After that, choose a Credit Goal from 10 credits to 999. The Session will not start if you do not reach that Goal.
The Minimum Buy-in amount is what Members need to spend to join your Group Session. It can be between 2 and 500 Credits, but can never be more than the Credit Goal.
Next is Group Session length, which refers to the time interval you want your Session to last. Minimum 3 minutes, maximum 15 minutes.
Pre-Session length means the time interval before the start of the Session during which Members may book their place. This can be from 1 minute to 5 minutes.
When you are done, start Pre-Session by clicking on the yellow button.
Tips
- Be creative when writing the description of the Session. The more interesting it is, the more Members wish to join.
- Do not make false promises. Keep the Site’s Rules in mind and remember your limits!
- You cannot modify the content of your Session after the Pre-Session has started, so be sure to set it exactly as you want it.
- Use the Pre-Session time to convince Members to pledge Credits toward your Credit goal.
Pre-Session
OranumCam will remind you which phase of the Group Session you are in so you can act accordingly. The timer shows you how much time you have left of your Pre-Session. The Credit meter bar shows your current progress towards your Credit Goal.

When you reach the Credit Goal, a yellow button will appear offering you the option to start the Group Session.
Tips
- Be as interactive with your Members as you can be. Remember, your goal is to collect enough Credits to meet your Credit Goal.
- Feel free to stay in the Pre-Session even after you reached your Credit Goal. You are allowed to continue collecting Credits until the Pre-Session time is up.
You also have the option of canceling your Group Session during the Pre-Session; however, if you do, you will lose the Credits collected during that time.
Group Session
The Group Session will automatically start once you reach your Credit Goal AND the Pre-Session time is up, or you can start it by clicking on the ‘Start Group Session’ button. You can see which Members contributed Credits to your Group Session, and how many they have sent. The timer counts down to the end of the Group Session. Once the time is up, the Session will automatically end.
Tips
- Don’t forget that you can continue to collect Credits even during the Group Session! This way you can easily surpass your Credit Goal.
- The description of the Session will be constantly visible to help remind you of what you promised your audience and should fulfill.
Take the Star
Everybody wants to be a Star, and now your Members can become yours!
During your Group Session (and Pre-Session), Members can compete with each other by giving you Credits, and the Member who sends the most Credits will be your Star!
You can motivate the other Members to become your Star, thereby creating a contest to win your attention.
