Introduction
Engage more Members with the Messenger! A picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth even more! Now you can share both pictures and videos with your Members through this Feature and increase your income with additional earnings.
How it works
We have given you the platform to send messages regularly to inform Members of your online availability, write about your thoughts or ask how they are doing. You can be connected anytime and anywhere with your loyal Clients.
A simple and convenient way to keep in touch with them while not having to be online.
You can send text, videos, pictures and voice messages from your Broadcaster Center, the OranumCam 5 software before going live or by using the Oranum Broadcaster App. Look for the envelope icon and start chatting!
Income statistics
You can share more content with your Community, and earn more with that. Set individual Credit targets for each photo or video you send!
When Members unlock the media that you have sent, you will immediately earn. Purchased content by the Members is indicated for the Experts in the ‘Messenger’ category on the Income Overview page and in the Dashboard page as a ‘Message’ income.
Media content sent by Members have the same price as you set for a single text message.
*Please note that you are not going to receive commission for Messenger Features (including messages/offline surprises/story reactions/etc.) until you have answered to the messages, in order to avoid neglecting the Member. If the Member sends multiple separate messages, then you will need to send the same amount of replies to receive earnings for each message.
*Mass Messages do not count as replies to any previously unanswered Member messages.
How to share photos/videos
The Messenger is available in the Messages in the left-side menu within the Broadcaster Center, on the Broadcaster App, it is the first icon at the bottom tab bar.
- Open a chat with a Member
- Click on the gallery/camera icon, and add the Photo or Video
Select Pricing
- After choosing the photo or video, you need to set its price, which can be Free, or up to 100 Credits.

- Free Video: 3s – 60s
- Premium Video: 30s – 10m
Forward Media
With the Forward Media option, you can share your content with more than one Member at a time.
- Navigate to Messages and click on the three dots next to the image/video that you have previously sent, then tap on the ‘Forward Media‘ arrow.
- Before sending, you can set a price again or personalize your message.
You can forward your media maximum 10 times per day and each time only a maximum of 20 Members can be chosen as recipients
Error Messages
If the photo or video fails to meet the minimum requirements, an error message will appear, providing the appropriate reason for why the image could not be sent (e.g., low image quality, too large file size).
Technical Requirements for photos:
- Acceptable image types are JPG, JPEG, PNG
- Recommended image type is JPG, all non-JPG files will be converted
- Minimum picture size is 240 x 240 pixels
- Maximum file size is 15 MB per photo
Technical Requirements for videos:
- The video should be between 3 seconds and 10 minutes
- Minimum 240px width
- File formats: AVI, MPEG, MPG, MOV, FLV, F4V, MP4, MKV
- The max. file size is 2GB
Voice Messages
You are also able to send audio recordings, which can help Members understand the feeling you want to convey with the message.
Sending a Voice Message is really easy, and it can be done from the Broadcaster Center and through the Oranum Broadcaster App as well.
Click on the microphone icon to start recording.
You can record up to 1 minute-long messages. Once the recording is done, click on the icon to send the message or to cancel it.
Mass Message
Sending the same message to multiple Members is easy with the Mass Message option.
You can send a Mass Message once a day, to maximum 20 Members and it must contain a photo or a video.
- Click on the envelope icon on the Messages page or in the mobile app
- You need to select the photo or video
- If it meets the technical requirements, the next step is to set the price and add the caption
- After setting the details, you can select the Members you want to send media to
Automated Messages
Automated messages are automatically sent to Members whenever they use the related service or Feature, and each message will only be sent once. For example, if a Member subscribes to you Stories for the first time, they will receive an automated message right after, but will not get the same message if they subscribe for a second time.

How they work?
You have the option to set automated messages for different Features and services in your Broadcaster Center.
- Click on Messages > Automated Messages in the menu on the left-hand side
- Select a Feature or service
- Set the delay of the message. This specifies the time interval after which the Member should receive the auto-message
- Write a customized message for the related Feature or service. You can also add the name of the Member automatically to make it more personalized
- Hit the save button
How to delete messages from Messenger
You are able to delete unwanted messages or if you send something unintentionally. However, the message will not be fully removed from your account, so if you accidentally delete something, the Admins may help you to retrieve it.
In order to delete any message, just hover your mouse on it and click on the ‘trash’ icon on your desktop device. If you use the Oranum Broadcaster App, just tap and hold the message, then choose Delete.
