What are the requirements for the Profile Photo?
The Profile Picture is the first impression Members see of you, thus it is one of the most important aspects of your success.
We only accept images that are sharp, clear and thoughtfully composed. The picture should reflect your professional, spiritual self with esoteric elements and your tools around you.
It might seem that our standards are too high, however it is your interest as well to have an excellent image, as it can greatly affect your traffic.

How long will it take to approve my registration documents?
Our Admin Team is continuously reviewing the incoming registrations, it will get accepted within a few hours, usually under one (1).
Can I work on Oranum without video?
Oranum is a live streaming website, a feature that makes it unique and help it stand out from similar sites. Therefore, it is essential to have a video feed to fully utilize our platform. This approach also benefits you as it makes communication easier and allows a more personal and engaging experience with your Members.
What is the difference between Free and Member Chat?
In Free Chat you are visible on the Site and anyone can enter your room. This is where Members and Guests can get to know you before engaging in a paid feature with you and the best way to create your loyal Member-base.
Member Chat serves for short breaks while streaming. Nobody can see you or hear you, however, the chat function is working, so they can type, and you are able to reply. Members can still take you to a Private Session, therefore, it is important to be as close to your computer as possible. Please note that you receive 5% less income than what you would if you were taken from Free Chat.
How do I know who is a Guest and who is a Member in my Free chat room?
While Guests appear with randomized names, Members have their own, personal usernames. Members can also be identified by the crowns being shown in front of their usernames, or in case they are non-paying Members, by the first letters of their usernames.
How many Members can enter my Private room at the very same time?
When someone takes you to a Private Reading it is only you and the Member in the room, nobody else can enter. If you wish to hold a Session to multiple Members at the same time, try out the Group Session feature!
Why is my Content rejected? How can I see the reason?
It may happen that your uploaded image or video gets rejected if it does not meet our requirements. Just hover your mouse over the information icon on the rejected content (or tap on the exclamation mark on phone) to see the exact reason.
Why the Cam2Cam and Two-Way Audio features are not available for me?
The Cam2Cam and Two-Way Audio features are not available when you are streaming from your browser. If you are experiencing issues while using Oranumcam or the Broadcaster App, contact our 24/7 Online Support.
Where can I check my Awards points and position? How are my points calculated?
You can check your current Awards position and points in all categories in your Broadcaster Center under the Top Experts – Awards menu, in the Broadcaster App or even in OranumCam. The amount of points you receive is based on how much you earn with the relevant features. The more your Members interact with you and you earn using a certain feature, the more points you will have in the corresponding Awards category.
Where can I check my Top Expert points and position? How are my points calculated?
The Top Expert is a monthly contest where points are calculated by interacting with Members and using the Site’s features’. You can always check your current position in your Broadcaster Center, under the Top Experts – Leaderboard menu, or in the Oranum Broadcaster App. Be online as much as you can and the more active you are, the more points you will receive!
What’s the difference between Special Requests and Surprises?
With the Special Requests feature, you are able to answer questions and give quick readings in Free Chat for Credits. You need to choose from a list of pre-selected actions and set a price in Credits for each one. Whenever a Member sends you a request you are obliged to provide a service, otherwise you lose the received Credits. In contrast, Surprises are considered gifts of appreciation for you and not meant to be in exchange for services. The price of the Surprises are fixed and the more Surprises you get the more points you can earn in the Surprises Awards game.
What are the crowns in front of the Members’ names?
The crowns refer to the Member’s position in our loyalty program, the Rewards Club. Members can collect points by spending Credits on the Site, and achieve higher levels in the ranking system. We advise to focus more on these Members as they will be more open to use any of the paid features.

Which payout method should I use?
Oranum offers multiple Payout Methods, from e-wallet accounts to bank transfer, which may vary according to your location. All the available Payout Methods for your region are visible in your Broadcaster Center, which one you choose is up to your preferences, we do not have a specific recommendation.
When will I get paid?
Payouts are sent for invoicing periods of 14 days, usually twice a month. The time you receive your earnings is based on which option you have chosen. The regular option is sent out 25 days after the Period has ended, whereas the Fast Payout is processed within a few days after the Period closure and the Instant can be requested even during the Payment Period. Please note that you have to reach your Payout Threshold to get paid.
What does Payout Threshold mean?
The Payout Threshold is the minimum amount of earnings you need to reach to receive payment. The lowest option you can set is $100, which is advised if you wish to get paid more frequently. Please note that in case of international wire transfer the minimum limit is $300.
I run a spiritual company, how can I use it for my payments?
On Oranum, you can receive your payment as a company as well! Upon setting up your Payout Method all you need to do is to choose the company option, then provide the company data, register the Managing Director or a Company Representative and fill out the required fields. Please note, however, that in this case you need to upload the invoice from your company after each Payout Period. I haven’t received my money! What should I do?
If you are certain that you have reached the Payout Threshold, the Payout Date of your chosen option has passed and you still have not received your Payment, please reach out to our Payinfo Department directly via e-mail at payinfo@oranum.com . Let us highlight that they work in office hours according to the CET (Central-European Time Zone) and therefore will only reply on business days.

I have low traffic in my room.
While Oranum is available all around the world, the traffic can be unpredictable due to varying time zones and the nature of its operations. It can happen that sometimes the traffic is lower in certain time periods, thus we suggest experimenting with how much time you spend online and when.
It is highly recommended to set up an eye-catching, spiritual background for your video feed along with a professional Profile Picture, so Members will be motivated to visit you. Always engage with the Members who come into your room and keep them interested in you and your services! Strive to greet all visitors with an appropriate tone and introduce yourself briefly to all newcomers. Feel free to talk about any spiritual topic, your expertise, methods, and tools as this is your own space where you can advertise yourself. Be the kind, empathetic person they need and show them that you are here to help them both with your spiritual professionalism and your guidance.
I only have Guests in my room.
The best way to increase your client base is through converting your Guests to Members. You may recommend the Guests who are in your room to register as Members in order to seek your professional advice. Members who have registered to receive your guidance often end up as an Expert’s most sincere and loyal clients. It is also worth mentioning that Oranum gives 9.99 Free Credits to all newcomers to try out the Site. If you advertise this promotion, you may have the opportunity to be the first Reader for someone. When should I come online?

What should I do in Private?
Give your full attention to the Member, listen to them, respond to what they write, be interactive and maintain eye contact. Give personal and detailed advice, avoid general statements such as “everything will be good” or “I see good things coming”. Members may feel disappointed when they receive such general answers, as they are seeking and paying for detailed ones. Do not stall the time or close the Reading on a paying Member as it can come across impolite and complaints may arise.
Admins in Free chat?
Oranum Admins may write to your Free Chat or initiate an Admin Chat with you while you are online. The Admin’s name is always written in blue and they are marked with a headphone icon. The Admins always reach out to you through these official channels (or via e-mail) and never request any services from you. On the Internet it can happen that there are users who pretend to be Admins or people of authority. If you are unsure that you were contacted by an Admin or just someone pretending to be it, reach out to us via our Online Support Chat for clarification.
How can I provide a better video feed?
You can improve your video quality by using one of our recommended webcameras, setting up proper lighting, and implementing spiritual elements into your background. Which platform should I use, the application, the OranumCam or going live from my browser?
It is completely up to you and your preferences! If you only have or prefer a mobile device the Broadcaster App is the platform for you! However, if you would like to stream from desktop we recommend using the standalone OranumCam software as the browser version has limited functionalities.
How do I set my audio? Can I mute my microphone?
When setting up your audio it is important to ensure a smooth experience for Members, without disturbances or background noises, even with the help of external microphones if you prefer. You can play background music from our Music Library as well to create an enjoyable atmoshpere but adjust the volume to make sure it does not overpower your voice. Muting your audio gives an unprofessional impression, additionally it may mean a BAD audio rating and a 5% deduction from your earnings. In your audio settings, check that the microphone is enabled and the volume is set appropriately.
Slow Camera Feed or Low Bandwidth Problems
Slow camera feed is usually the result of connection problems or low upload speed. If you run other applications or watch videos while streaming online it can greatly consume your speed and affect your video quality. Ensure that your connection meets the minimum requirements (1500 kbps (1.5 Mbps) international uploading and 2000 kbps (2.0 Mbps) international downloading speed) and your are connected via cable, because a WIFI connection can reduce the stability.
