What are Surprises?
The Surprises on ORANUM are considered gifts of appreciation from the Members for your services. If the Members like your style and personality, they will let you know by sending you Surprises.
The price of the Surprises are fixed and you can’t modify them but there is a wide range of their availability starting from 1 Credit to even 5,000 Credits!
You may have already seen that there is also a different category for Surprises in the Awards. The more Surprises you receive the more points you are awarded in that category which will result in you climbing to the top and claiming the 1st place with the 500 USD prize!
Let us highlight, however, that it is not allowed to tie your services to the Surprises as we have the dedicated feature for such.
Receiving Surprises while you are online
When you are Live on the Site the Members will enter your room and start chatting with you. If they like the topics you bring up and how you present your skills they will honor it by sending you different amount of Surprises.
If you are Live via OranumCam, you should see the Surprises appear in a green text indicating the username of the Member and the amount you receive while the animation of the Surprise also popping up on the right side.
“It is better to give than receive.” – It may seem evident for you to offer some of your services for a certain amount of Credits sent in the form of Surprises, however, it is not allowed to do so. If a Member insists that they would like to receive them that way, let them know that they are considered gifts and they should rather use the Special Request feature instead.
When you are streaming using the Oranum Broadcaster Application, the Surprises sent to you appear on the left side showing you the corresponding animation and at the bottom a green text will be visible stating the Members’ username and the amount sent.
It is also possible for the Members to send you a Surprise during the Private Readings which will appear the same, above mentioned ways in OranumCam and in the Oranum Broadcaster Application too.

Offline Surprises
It may happen from time to time that Members want to let you know how much they appreciate your services even when you are not online. In this case they can decide to send you an Offline Surprise. The available options are the same as for normal Surprises but this way you would receive a Message from a Member with the image of the chosen Surprise.
This feature also counts towards the Surprises category in the Awards, thus if you receive any amount, make sure to answer as soon as possible and express your gratitude towards the Member.
We would like to highlight that in order to receive the share for these Offline Surprises, you must sent a reply to the Member’s Message.
