What is the Video Ads feature?

The Broadcaster Center provides a new promotion tool for you where you can upload videos and participate in campaigns to promote your Profile. Our team evaluates these videos and uses them to set up the campaigns.

You can drive quality traffic to your Profile by uploading your own Video Ad today!

How it works?

Upload and manage your Video Ads on the Promotion Tools → Video Ads page.

There are 4 classifications for videos based on the conversion rate:

  • Excellent
  • Good
  • Average
  • Low

Your video will receive a conversion rate (percentage) after 100 impressions. Until we can collect this data, the video will be classified as ‘Waiting for Data’. The percentage can also change with time, since we refresh the data based on any new impressions.

1 impression = each time the video appears on a promo tool.

The higher your video’s conversion rate, the better! More users will visit your profile and boost your traffic!

You can always add more videos to promote yourself even further.

We also advise you to spend more time online, as we only show videos of Online Experts.

To upload a new video, click on the ‘Add new ad’ button:

After uploading the video, it will be handled by our team. Once done, you can opt-out of the promotion and deactivate the video at any point by clicking on the three dots under each video and the ‘Disable Traffic’ option.

To reactivate the video, click on ‘Enable Traffic’ in the settings of the inactive video.

If a video is rejected, you can check the feedback with the reasons of the rejection by hovering over the warning icon located on the thumbnail of the video.

Main Requirements

Atmosphere:

  • Esoteric, neat and orderly environment, with added lighting if needed.
  • No recognizable branded clothing or visible brands and no persons other than you.
  • Spiritual tools related to the video topic if any.
  • A close-up angle, with you in the center and in focus, looking directly at the camera.
  • Speak directly to the camera as if you were doing a live reading.

Production:

  • Make sure you have a fixed camera angle throughout your video.
  • High video & sound quality, no pixelation or distracting background noises.
  • No cut-editing, minimum color/light editing if necessary.
  • If you use music, it should be from our Music Library.
  • Don’t make sound the main component of your video, it can be muted by default in ads. Add subtitles if possible.

Theme:

  • Grab the attention of your viewers in the first 3-5 seconds. Introduce yourself, show some interesting tools, tarot cards, crystal balls, etc.
  • Some content areas that are advised to focus on are love, career, finances, family, and introductions to your work on spirituality/divination.
  • Do not highlight a specific year, season, or holiday. Videos will be used year-round. Your outfit and room decorations should not refer to a specific holiday either.
  • Build video content around one or all of the “Three E”s: Entertaining, Emotional, and/or Educational. 
  • Success stories of past clients can also work well.

ABCD of Great Video Content:

ATTRACT: Open strong! Within the first 5 seconds, show tools, hand gestures, and facial expressions to make an impact.

BRAND: Say your name and Oranum naturally and intentionally, include characteristic backgrounds from your readings. 

CONNECT: Hold attention with emotion and pacing. Talk about love, career, family. Connect with heartbreaks, disappointments, human nature.

DIRECT: Be direct and tell the audience what to do after watching the video.

Technical requirements:

  • Must be between 18 and 20 seconds long

  • Upload videos in a full landscape/horizontal format (16:9)

  • Recommended Full HD resolution: 1920×1080

  • Recommended minimum resolution: 1280×720

  • Recommended frame rate: 29.97 FPS or 30 FPS

  • Accepted file formats: AVI, MPEG, MPG, MOV, FLV, F4V, MP4, MKV

  • The max. file size is 2 GB

  • Audio is not necessary, but clear audio with no disturbing noises is recommended
